The weapon viewmodels are placed a bit too high up for my taste so i was wondering if theres a file where i could edit the x,y and z axis of the weapon viewmodels like in for example counter strike? Or are there any console commands for it? |

In the weapon configuration file (gamedata\configs\weapons\w_ak74.ltx for example) in the first section [wpn_ak74] you will see something like this position = -0.026, -0.180, 0.0 orientation = 0, 0, 0 These are my notes after fiddling around with them to get them looking right for CoP/CoC. I just restart the game, spawn the weapon and look at the changes, re-tweak, rinse and repeat until it looks decent. There might be an easier way to do this, I don't know. Hope this helps. ♦♦POSITIONING NOTES (all positions are from 1st person perspective) ;3rd person world view position = 0.000746(+=weapon moves to right, - = Left), -0.000321(+=weapon moves up, - = down) ,0.003479(+=weapon moves forwards, - = Back) orientation = 1.239378 (+=weapon rotates horizontally to left, - = right), -0.134046(+=weapon rotates vertically up, - = down), -2.052052 (+=weapon rotates vertically right, - = left) Edited by: PYP |
