First, hello to every Stalker. I've been playing this game for years, and ever since I found Misery I wanted to try it because of the really hardcore experience. Now that I've got a better rig, I could actually do that and for the last few months I've been enjoying every minute of this mod.
However I'd like to know how to calculate actual damage dealt.
I know there is a hit_power on weapons, which is the basic. Then there is the multiplier of K_hit statistic on the ammo.
This is all good, but I don't really know how can I calculate damage against someone who has any type of armor on it. On the ammo files there is a k_pierce and k_ap statistic too. I don't really know which one I should use in calculation. A little help would be appreciated.
Second: I trust this number is a multiplier too, but is it used INSTEAD of k_hit or is it also a multiplier of it?
Thank You for Your time ^^

In the mods there is a weapon mod that is based more on ammo/gun versus damage/recoil then just a damage bar.

Avoid using autosaves, use hard saves only.

Umm, the fact is that I'm using that currently, because I also thought originally in the mod damage values for weapons were off. Also 5X pso-1m scope was...like 3x zoom. The problem is that the mod hasn't solved this issue for me. I even changed fov to 83 as the mod wanted to.

Meanwhile I think I have found that k_ap is the one that controls damage against armored targets. I still don't know if this is another multiplier is it's the damage that is dealt INSTEAD of k_hit.
