Trickery Stash Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Can't seem to loot this stash, maybe it's the zone playing games with my mind, blyn shouldn't eat those bloodsuckers meat anymore.

Have you looted it before? Do those board knock out any more?

Nope, never looted it, and the boards are unbreakable, tried shotgun shots and nades, nothing.

That's just evil You could edit your pickup_info_radius on line 36 of configs/creatures/actor.ltx and see if you can grab it.

Where is that stash located?

Looks like Pripyat to me.

The Park with the slides? Have you got a save in Pripyat? Can you take a picture further back so I can identify the right set of boards? I've found several with identical boards, tiles next to it, but never the same clump of grass or any with something inside. I set my radius to 10M and went around to them all too and can't find anything.

Managed to get the prints, and so it seems the game made some Cheeki Breeki magic and the weapon moved by herself, now I can loot the stash normally.

Bizarre, I will look again. None of those boarded areas had anything in them for me when I looked before.

Found it Couldn't have done it without the map LOL. Pack of ciggies in there too.

Glad you found it, it's really strange from the weapon moving from place to place, maybe it moved during emissions?

Even if you use the debug tools to spawn something at your feet, the object can drop through the map or be partially embedded so you can't pick it up. Usually after several reloads, the object(s) start emerging back on the surface. That's probably what happened. Recompiling the maps for AN4 resulted in some stashes moving slightly; that one probably was partially off and not very common to find (I've got 6500+ hours and never noticed it).

Found something strange about the bandits mission The Hit, after I complete and help the bandits I get 2 achievements, this is normal or its a bug?

Playing with recon btw

No idea what is up with the friend of achievements. Making some squads neutral seems to have nudged the balance a little.
