SEVA Suit? Please... Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

We've been playing misery mod for a while now for sniper class, having achieved a wealthy client achievement.
However we are unable to find a SEVA suit at any trader... is it possible to get it by no-cheateing means?
We really like SEVA suit, the orange scientist suit is good but doesn't look very nice.

Nimble in Skadovsk gets you one when you asked a closed-cycle suit. I couldn't find anywhere either. Just Nimble before the quest you travel to Pripyat.

it is unlocked , by completing all misions for scientist i think, or when you found out, you need technitian for using elevator to go underground pasage.

from that moment you can buy it from traders or order from nimble.

unlocking all scientist missions never worked for me for unlocking it, the only way seems to involve finding the road to pripyat.

Btw. keep your eyes open for a free SEVA hidden in pripyat underground passage, worth ~40K if I remember correctly.

Thanks all but we actually would like to have the suits handy before we go to pripyat, for fights in the tunnel leading there.
It makes very little sense to unlock it afterwards

you missunderstud, its unlocked when you find about tunel door and you need technitian help, you still need to assemble a team, find suits and so on....
and from that moment you can buy it in jupiter or zaton and use it to go to tunnel for pripyat.

trivia: yes there is free seva in tunnel (in safe , in underground station), but you already wearing one because you just past area with nerve gas.

For the record 2 most of the perks from achievements are disabled in Misery. Trader inventories are adjusted based on game progression, wealthy client doesn't affect them

What elevator, underground passage, where?? I have no quests in Jupiter left but assemble a team. So i must assemble a team first?

was you in jupiter plant ? where the helicopter crashed true the roof ? in the complex are several documents, one say there is a tunel to pripyat but military filled it with nerve gas. when you found that paper, you automaticaly should get quest find seva suit (closed cycle respiratory suit). and from this moment it can be buyed in hawaian store , or from nimble...

I think i have it, will explore further.
Btw this mod is imo excellent, this is how the Stakjer should have been in the first place - we always start black entry method and try to survive.

You still wont be able to buy it from hawaiian, or anywhere else. You need to order it from nimble, period. If you are on the assemble team quest, you allready have the quest, just go to nimble with 200k and order the suit.

The suit in the passage is not available until after you allready got the seva suit.

The Seva suit is in the trader files and isn't set to "no_trade", so I don't know why it would be impossible to acquire one unless there's is a bug in the item progression conditions.

Well, they certainly sell it, but not untill *after* you have allready passed through the underpass (for the final trader upgrade).
Im just stating that there is no way for you to get the Seva unless you get to nimble after clearing out the documents from jupiter. (or at least i heavnt found one, clearing all scientist quests or not)

After you fetch the Jupiter docs and scan the choppa there, it will be available from Hawaiian for a reasonable 99440 RU.

What I don't understand is:

In the description of the SSP-99 scientific suit, it says it has a closed cycle respiratory system. The SSP-99 headgear (which is said to be separated from the suit) also has the unit. Yet I can't go down the tunnel in those two. (but Sokolov can in his similar scientific suit?)

I just got a SEVA Suit form Bear in Zaton cost me $121.00 RU and I still have two helicopters inspections left.???????

carizam true! I bouth seva suit long before i finished all helicopters, half of the missions around yanov station, so just load saves until you find it at the trader, i must say that in one moment all of them were selling seva suit, am not sure about Owl maybe not! Nimble order is giving you some other suit , armour suit, and ghillie! Version 2.1 beta with latest upgrade!

Any dealer can sell his grand collection of items if your are lucky like Owl can even sell the best sniper rifles. I usually see this only happen after finishing the scientist quests, you lucky sob.

I do find it bothersome that a recon specialized in these suits, still losses more then half its stamina wearing seva or any bio suits. I know an assaulter and sniper also does, but a recon is suppose to be specialized in them.

All 3 class loose some stamina recovery with those suits, only recon class loose slightly less then siniper and assault class.

Recon guys are always on something anyway, so it should not be a real bummer for this class

Wearing a biosuit for a recon brings it two bars, quite sad actually >.< As I play as a recon I tend to snort a lot cause I lack kleenex. :p Speaking of stamina any reason why the sniper and especially recon stamina maximum becomes less over time. If you reload its is corrected, regardless of living healthy or not.

This is becouse of new stamina/weight system intoduced with Misery mod. You can carry more weight compared to vanilla CoP, but more weight you have in inventory less stamina you have. Do not mistake stamina recovery and max stamina. If you have armour attachments free on your suit I always try to attach some item that helps in stamina recovery.

At least you have working quick release system that will help you with low stamina when you are in harsh situations.

Are we talking about the same thing? Cause I'm talking about the 'stamina bar' (you can emptying while moving and filling while standing still) missing a few stripes as time passes, which are restored if you save and then load. Once I hadn't had to load for hours and it was 2/3 of normal.

Yes, stamina bar can't reach maximum if you are overloaded. If it fills up with save/reload game than it something wrong with reloading, like AI goes in different direction, etc. But if you put/drop something in your inventory it should go below it's maximum.

The effect is most noticable if you are at full Health, so you can compare Health bar with stamina bar.
I must admmit, I didn't pay much attention of reseting stamina bar with save/load game, though.

You can get the SEVA suit well before Pripyat, but it is no longer required to do the tunnel mission. The Green ecologist and I believe the red one both enable the mission. Since the only challenge really in the tunnels is keeping your companions from shooting each other, the expense isn't necessary unless you want it. There is a fix for the overloaded stamina drop, answered here: Moddb.com The effect is intended, but if it really bothers you ... I just finished the first scientist mission, didn't see SEVA for sale, Immediately gave Morgan's PDA to Duty and finished that mission, SEVA is now available from trader in Yanov Station
