I guess Misery uses an entirely different death manager script, but I've run into a bit of a problem with something I want to do: How do I get an NPC to not drop items at all? This seems pretty impossible to do. I've attempted to make a new merchant in Jupiter that can get killed... trouble is, when he dies, he drops everything he has for sale. Pretty gamebreaking, as you can imagine. I've tried the [dont_spawn_loot] flag in his logic script, tried specifying him as a unique community ('trader') with no items set to drop in the death_items_by_community.ltx, but nothing really seems to work. Any way you can transfer his inventory on death to another non-existant NPC? |
