Just had a game in my recon. My game weather is set to permanent heavy fog. I was there at night, I think there are 3 or 4 of these pryogeist or whatever the hell their name is, trolling inside the center building and I can't get near them. Heavy fog limits my vision so grenade launcher don't work so good, and their aura become way too strong when I try to get close.

Don't you guys think it's time to reduce these psy-aura?

There's no point in nerfing the game for everyone so you can enjoy you fog :D You could make your character more immune to the psy effects overall ...

I know, nerfing the whole thing isn't the idea. But these psy-aura is seriously OP against player especially with walls in between. At least we should have some kinda of OP drugs to counter the effect.

I've found it's only a problem for that Kindergarten mission where they appear at point blank range. Apart from that I like it the way it is. Psyblock and a good helmet gives enough protection to deal with poltergeists at Jupiter and Iron Forest. Honestly I wouldn't go anywhere near areas that spawn poltergeists in heavy fog (especially since those same areas can spawn chimeras, controllers and bloodsuckers), I'd just wait for better weather.

I think OP drugs would effectively be the same as just a plain nerf. Poltergeists are rare so it would be easy to save those OP drugs for the right moment. Since drugs don't weigh very much you could always carry them around with you.
