I would really like to reduce the number of stalkers, freedom and duty that appear on the map,
while increasing bandits, merc and mutants.
I read elsewhere on the forum that the engine did not allow many entities to be managed at once. Either
But surely there is a way to decrease allies and increase threats?

I was recommended this link:
Sdk.stalker-game.com

I followed the instructions, but when I run decompile.bat,
nothing happens at all; no window opening, no bugs. Just nothing.

Any help from you would be welcome.

PS: I want to do this because although misery increases the difficulty,
the game remains too easy precisely because of this:
When I arrive at a place, everyone is dead :/
At the start of my game, thanks to that I was able to loot a lot of things which accelerated the power of my character.
Now I ride everything :/

What alife switch distance are you playing at? The default is 300 meters, the original game was 150m.

The higher you set it, the more interaction there will be between squads. I can't help with the compiler.

Are you playing with any add-ons besides Just MISERY? I've played more than 9000 hours and never had "When I arrive at a place, everyone is dead :/".

Very late in the game, at very busy places like the waste processing plant, Monolith and bandits can have some crazy fights leaving bodies everywhere, but never early in the game.

But that's exactly what happened in my game,
I was able to loot a bunch of bodies on the ground in various places on the first two maps.
Alas, I arrive in a place where the battle has already taken place, without me. Without me even being able to hear gunfire in the distance often.
I'd say that happens 7 times out of 10.
Honestly, I felt miserable for the first two, three days (in the game). Now, i ride ;(

For alife, I play with the default setting.
I added the spawn-menu, to make greats threats appear to me,
to make up for the frustration that comes with a battlefield that went on without me ^^'

That's why I want to keep the number of allies as low as possible. Not only do I not need assistants, but more importantly, I don't want them killing my targets!
Who should I turn to for this operation to reduce the allies and increase the rest?

I'm out of x8 with the documents. There's absolutely no life in the city :(
The colonel gave me the mission of eliminating the monoliths in the hospital. I hope the town will come alive again.

One strange thing is that I have the distinct impression that the mutants in Jupiter don't see me as well as those in Zaton.
I shoot at them standing up so that they can see me and come over, and I jump too.
But they're running around instead of coming at me like in Jupiter,
I stay alert.

I simply attack 'friendlies' of factions I wish to be hostile towards me and that makes the entire clan hunt you. Once you attack Stalkers the traders will no longer do business with you. I also often play without using any traders. I use only the ammo I loot or barter for with chance met NPC's. This makes me use many weapons I would otherwise avoid based on the available ammo.

There is a file in the gamedata\configs\creatures\ folder called game_relations.ltx Your actions in the game impact this file and turn factions more hostile towards you. Instead of attacking 'friendlies', you could edit this file with notepad++ or just notepad and modify the numbers to make more factions hostile towards you. This could mess up some side missions making them unavailable. The file contains information to guide you on how it works...

I forgot to ask the specifications of your PC/Laptop. You mentioned crashing. If you followed the installation directions explicitly and have no modifications other than a spawner, you may still have your switch_distance set too high for your hardware. It could also just be a bad installation.

Siding with the bandits on all early quests will make them more dominant later in the game, then you can piss them off and have less duty/freedom/stalkers and more angry bandits too. It also makes stalkers less friendly, which means more conflict.

Not going to lie, early on in the game (200m switch distance, so 'vanilla plus a bit), I keep finding squads of stalkers where only one member has survived. Which is really amusing to see, but also makes the zone feel emptier.

That can happen. With alife.ltx set too high, squads are drawn away from their normal routes and the 'zone' thinks they are dead and respawns another squad. This can cause places like the AA complex, waste processing station, etc. to be very highly populated. We fixed much of that, but it is still possible for overspawns to take place. I've never noticed anything happeneing if you set it too low. There were a couple outfit bugs where some characters in defective outfits were virtually indestructible. Those I would find wandering about by their lonesome...

Haven't found any invincible stalkers yet, but that sounds fun. Haha.

I discovered several during Beta testing. We removed the offending outfits as we identified them. Only an extreme explosion would kill them. No bullets worked. Even some of the crazy overspawns were entertaining problems to overcome. I had conga lines of controllers and burers in pairs streaming from the AA Complex towards the Scientists bunker. I had to go all the way to the roof of the burned out village and snipe them from beyond all their PSI ranges.
