Everyone, I am trying to re-download misery mod but when I do I get the following error (see screenshot below). I know COP is pretty old now but hopefully people still check in and can help.

You need a legal copy of call of pripyat installed and patched, if needed to 1.6.02. It must be run once and saved. Then download and install as administrator the FULL version of Misery 2.1.1. I highly recommend a clean COP install, if you have run other mods. I usually uninstall any mods, uninstall the COP game, remove any remaining folders, then reinstall the game. Running the original game once and saving it creates needed folders for the Misery Install. |
