Artifacts containers Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

1) I found 2 containers in two bandits, they are "full" but how can I open them up to take the content? If not empy I can't even sell them!

2) These containers, with artifact inside, are effective just if I take them in my inventory? They are not attachable... so?

There is a pair of rusty tongs in your inventory you use to remove artifacts from containers. The artifacts once installed in an appropriate module may be used on your belt (not in inventory). To sell either the artifacts or modules, use the tongs to separate them first.

Hint: the tongs, being 1x1 square items, can be placed in a quick access slot making using them quicker and exposing you to less radiation. I use my f1 slot and it also prevents me from accidentally using a bandage when I miss the esc key

Of course, what else could they be used for??!

Grilling tip: If you use the tongs on a nice hot artefact first, then pick up your meat, it cooks its self!

And when I find an artifactr, if I have my tongs on with an open empty container, can I take it without readioactivity effect?

You don't need tongs to put artifact in container, only to extract it out. You only need empty container and artifact to put it in.

Small dosage of radiation is unavoidable in process, so it is better to do it quickly as possible. It is intended, to emphasis that handling radioactive materials is always dangerous.
