I find a lot of weapon mods that make the vanilla weapons look beautiful. I am quite disappointed that Misery doesn't touch on much of the weapons in terms of animations.

There is a mod for Clear Sky called Road to Limansk, and the modded VSS Vintorez it had was really neat. And when I was looking for the Vintorez or the AS VAL in Misery, I was hoping that the weapons had that new model and animations. But that hope was shattered when I found that the Vintorez still used the same vanilla animations and mirrored model.

Will the game still function if I replace the model and animations of the Vintorez and AS VAL with the one from Road to Limansk? I'm just not sure if the model of the hands will appear purple due to any texture glitches.

Hello dude, this a little bit late respond, but here it is anyways,

Misery is getting an update soon, so you need to wait for it to come, and than check whether there are new animations or not, in both cases I'm going to work on a new version of my mod in which I will focus on replacing almost all Vanilla weapons with new ones similar to those in Road to Limansk, here's an AS VAL which is a mirrored model, and it uses new animations that you're going to like. I would suggest you check v1.7 of my mod, it has a good amount of new weapons and some replacements for vanilla shooters, you will get a good idea about the future update of the mod.

Cheers dude.
