Hey doomjedi, is the source code available? I looked for it here but couldn't find it. I'm assuming the project is GPL-licensed. ^__^

We never release source code of our mods.
As do 99% of wolf3d modders out there, and not only wolf3d ones.
Those are free mods that take alot of time to make, and it's not fair on a very basic level for others to not only enjoy our free creations (thousands of code lines) , but getting our hard source work for free to make fast clones of our engine and making cheats of our mods.

Unrelated to dry legal terms this norm is widely accepted in all modding communities, sure retro ones. Some (rarely) do willingly release source of their mods and those are appreciated, but players never go as far as to demand those.
As they know that doing so would simply demotivate modders from making mods at all and noone will win.

We are working hard for free for you to enjoy mods.

what do you think the point of OPEN SOURCE is?

I understand the words and dry legal terms.

We make free mods, we do not earn money from "Open Source" policy. Putting alot of our work into it.
Those are community standards, to release source on will only. If standards were different, this mod wouldn't be created to begin with and you won't have the source anyway.

Our mappers wouldn't work hard on maps you can easily cheat through. Coder wouldn't add thousands of code lines as a free tutorial for other coders to make clones of our work and then in internet would be 1000 different custom versions and builds of SplitWolf.

I found a way, buy a Ps2 controller adapter for pc and download xpadder(a software that makes you game controller emulate the keyboard or mouse.
look in the splitwolf readme for key list and setup a ps2 controller for player 2.

Beautiful mod, 100% awesome!!:) (as most would guess I have a question).

How can you setup different joysticks and mouses to each player. I tried giving player 1# a mouse and player 2# a joystick, but in the end both controllers only work for player 1#.

Could someone help please.

Hi, your mod is great! but i had a bad luck - i can control only 1 and 4 player (arrows and J,k,l and others). How i can fix this?

p.s. controls works fine at Spear of destiny, but at original version is not

Anyway, if there is some weird controls behaviour - delete config.xxx file/s to reset it to defaults, it might solve the issue.

This is weird.

Anyway you can change player 2 keys in "control"-->"customize controls", left/right keyboard keys will change P1 (player 1) to P2 (player 2) and then obvious ENTER to change the keys.
