Featuring story and level design by Ronwolf, art by Doomjedi, programming from the talented Linuxwolf and WSJ, as well as new and original soundtrack by Lozer_42.

The story takes place after the events that occurred in Operation: Eisenfaust Origins and Operation: Eisenfaust. After Schabbs' demise, it was assumed that the Eisenfaust plans had been destroyed once and for all. But a former protégé of Schabbs has taken the blueprints of the operation and is attempting to restart it. It is up to special agent B.J. Blazkowicz to stop the Nazi's from creating another mutant army. Will B.J. stop them, or is he about to find out that the operation might have progressed a lot faster than he thought, with its effects far more devastating...

Legacy began right after the cancellation of SonderKommando Revolt, long before Operation Eisenfaust: Origins was even discussed. 4 years, this closely matches Sonder in development timescale. Initial ideas were taken from some ideas thrown in the discussion of the Eisenfaust: Origins remake but ended up growing into having a life of it's own.
This is the first time Team RayCast has gone for all new sounds and music made specifically for the mod.

Damn boy i just have to say to all people that standing behind this mod thank you. I never thought that moding in Wolfenstein cool to. Right now i'm on level 12 and i'm trying to do 100% run. I'm doing good but for me it's kind of frustrating to just run along the wall and press use key. I think you should mark secret somehow. I mean in cave level i spend 30 mins to find last secret. Also for some reason when i set bigger resolution game lags. And i think it's not because of computer well because it can run modern games. Is there any solutions to that ? I set my resolution to: "1280x800" I tried to set "1920x1080" but game just crashed.

Thank you for your feedback!

I understand the frustration. I myself have usually trouble finding Wolf3D secrets and prefer them to be marked somehow (like in some other Wolf3D mods) But marked secrets are too obvious for some and most or almost all Wolf3D mods do not use such. We never hide in secret areas keys or some things you have to have to finish the level, secrets are optional, nice to find. Some made 100% playthroughs of Legacy so it's possible, maybe they used map editor, don't know. They might have. You can open game files with "ChaosEdit".

Lags? Never noticed, but didn't play it with too high resolution. Legacy has complicated codebase that might have side effects, it's not as effective as commercial engines, it's just a fan-based mod.

Game indeed might not work on all resolutions because of engine glitches.

Can we see a ECWolf port of this and Origins at some point?

This mod has alot of custom code and features ECWolf does not support (parallaxed skies and many others). So porting it to ECWolf is impossible at this point even if we'd want to.
Also, as this run natively in Windows and in good resolutions, we really don't know what (maybe beside more Doom-like controls?) such porting will add to the mod. Even if it would be possible (and it's currently not), such big efforts of porting need some big motivation/added value.

Well, can you at least make a update for Origins that allows WASD and mouse controls?

Fantastic mod, fun and varied levels and some neat new mechanics incorporated. Controlling a mecha was an idea I've had for some time now but you guys were faster to implement. :p

The only downside is the strange angle some guns are held by the player (particularly the Kar and the STG), but the reload animations were pretty cool.

Thank you :)

Yes, reloading animations I made myself after watching youtube reloading videos of those weapons and splitting the process into key frames.

Keep follow us, our next mod is not too far away, hope you'll enjoy it as well :)
