While the TEC, Advent and Vasari are embroiled in their own struggles for survival a new threat has emerged, intent on spreading it's infectious plague throughout the universe. The sickening ruthlessness in which entire populations are infected or destroyed is alarming to the TEC, Advent and Vasari alike. If the Plague wasn't enough they were immediately followed yet another race calling themselves the Nephilim. The initial encounter with the "Nephilim" held promise they would unite in defeating the Plague. However, Initial attempts at diplomacy have failed as the Nephilim seem single purposed in their pursuit of the Plague.
Please Download the file, extract with 7 zip and place in your Sins of the Fallen (D) Alpha 0.2 folder. Select yes if asked to overwrite files. This is a full release but can be considered as a patch if you have previously downloaded the Alpha 0.2 version.

Notes about Alpha Releases in General
Alpha versions of this mod are focusing on delivering complete functionality when possible. However, the quality of some textures, models and sounds are deliberately limited as the goal is to iteratively improve the mods quality overtime along with hopefully the skillset of the modders. Version Alpha 0.2x will fix any issues found with Nephilim race.
Version Alpha 0.3 will introduce the Plague as a complete race similar to Alpha 0.2 for the Nephilim.
wow great mod :D love the new starbase look but it has more of a Super ship or dreadnought of the plague than a starbase. If i can ask if the starbase can have more of a dracula feature style castle or like a massive heep of asteroid in space idk but i still like the mod!

I'm planning on using the fortress type model in the images above as a capital ship for Plague. I think the current bulging starbase works pretty good personally.

This should work with Diplomacy 1.011 (desync hotfix) and 1.01. I don't know if it would work 1.00 or not.
you need a desync hotfix for 1.01??
The latest version 1.011 was due to a desync issue in multi-player games. It doesn't really affect this mod unless you play multi-player.
so you dont really need 1.001 i guess? could still practive vs comp

Cool, hope you enjoy the current version. The plague race is not complete yet, have not finished structures or voice overs. I think they are fun to play or play against though. They are a little tricky with their growth based research but can be pretty deadly. Capital ship research also will continually grow levels based on the current research level... so don't be too upset if you lose a plague capital ship. Nephilim are much easier to play having a straight forward attack approach.
does this mod include a super ship for each race?
Not as of yet (I have models for Plague and Nephilim though). I have a concept that I'm testing with the core races, but super ships (titans, etc) are difficult to manage in Sins making it somewhat complicated to add and still have the AI be manageable and the game fun.
So... Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion is adding Titan class ships, so this should make adding Titans much easier down the road. Plus the AI may actually use them...
cant wait for titans :D...finally those damn starbases have a match now :D
