Rivensin build 0.9.82 includes fixes related to player animations, material files, enables weapon shadows, and fixes the shield not working properly in vanilla maps. The build comes bundled with Dhewm 3 1.5.1 32-bit. This update includes in the missing and now improved editing tools, Carmack's reverse stencil shadows, and more. check out DHEWM3.ORG for the full release notes and linux builds.
It is highly advised to do a fresh install of dhewm 3 and the mod after downloading. All past builds have been archived. Since there is currently no gain from using win 64 vs win 32, I am only uploading the 32-bit version... which has been tested much more and includes the editing tools.

Still need to pack them all up. The current versions of dhewm3 on the official site should be compatible with Rivensin 0.9.81 builds
I'm guessing this is a Windows only mod? Wondering what ever happened to the equivalent of the old Quake 3 QVM files where you didn't have to build DLL or SO files for either operating system and could use QVM's instead to work cross platform? Nothing like this in the Doom engine?
Github.com There are download links for other os there. I don’t believe they include the hardcoded fixes from the recent updates.

First I would like to thanks you for the awesome Rivensin, i really like the concept and this is really pleasant to play in third person and with extra potential and compatibility with additional maps and addons! :)
Secondly i have played in 2010 for the Doom 3 release and it was really well done already! ;)
But now with the first and last release of dhewm 3 of Rivensin i have a mega freeze when i kill all forgotten one (Lost souls of ROE) with the bow in the castle, (between the first zombies waves and the arch demon boss) only in this situation with the bow. ( Tested on 2 PC on win 7 ultimate 64 bit, 32 and 64 bit of your releases I must ctrl+alt+suppr to close)
If i kill all the forgotten one with other weapons or techniques it works well.
Perhaps, this helps you to better understand.
Also I had a problem in the past with clipping objects and the saves crash also but now this is resolved good job!
Overall between this, excellent mod with lots of fun and serious! :D

Thanks for the feedback. We had thought game crashing insertion issues were solved prior to the first dhewm3 release. I will try to replicate it as I have not had them. Is this a clean install for 0.9.80? And have you tried deleting any savegame date prior to install in your mydocuments/mygames/dhewm3 folder?
This occur with regular arrows, explosive not tested and yes deleted, clean.
I can confirm this possible. For me the game goes slow mo for a bit and then fires back up to normal. Defiantly related to the regular arrows. Not sure if this occurs in other maps. Looking into a hotfix.

Looks like we have a fix. Plan to deploy the hotfix this weekend. This will also fix a couple more minor issues with Lost Souls & Dead Souls.
Excellent,the fix works well,i have not tested all levels but i guarantee already no problems for first levels.
