Impressive. There aren't much 3rd person shooters running with id tech 4.

The only release is public beta, most modders here usually point out the mod as released when they release some kind of beta.
I'm having some trouble with resolutions here, my native resolution is 1920x1080, inside DOOM III and other normal mods in first person it works great setting custon resolution in DoomConfig.cfg but when setting any resolution here (including the supported ones) the camera is kind of moved and it looks a bit odd, like if my screen was bigger, and it focuses on only one corner. So this way I only see a very narrow character model and cannot fully see the hud on the left, just can spot part of the health bar. The crosshair is on the mid-top of the screen and it's difficult to aim. Is there any solution for this?

never found out why this happens on some people's machines. Make sure you are starting Ruiner through a shortcut and not from doom3 itself.
Development ended quite some time ago. The team disbanded from various reasons. Source release is still planned.
There are also no first peron models or animations for the weapons. It was extra work we didn't have the man power for and the goal was always a pure thirdperson experience. they were also removed to help quite a bit with memory.
Will this work with the steam version of Doom III?

is that a bug or the author of the mod didnt make models yet?
btw whats the command of third person?
I have the same problem. When the first time I played this mod,it´s perfect, with third person gameplay, but when I played the second time, the third person view disappear and turns in first person view (include a new and save games). Why this happened? It´s a serious bug of this mod ?
And the authors their have abandoned the mod ?
We want answers about this and a resolution of this strange bug
