Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
the new guns for the tecnical:
Updated .50 machinegun, Dsk machinegun and Recoiless Rifle
Awesome!
It's time to go hunt down some Manticore tanks...
How you kill them?
The guy on the far left is about to have a really, really bad day.
Yeah, when the blast of Recoiless Rifle would make a nice hole in his chest.
figured someone would say that as soon as we posted this but considering that the original upgrade was a rocket launcher which was held and used in exactly the same manner i didn't realy have any ***** left to give about it :P
Judging by the way the soldiers positioned, they're gonna give a whole lot of *****. subtlety is not my forte. XD
Looks like the enemies of the GLA will get majorly "****** up"...
Not for long.
awesome 3 different weapon for tecnical.im looking forward for other updates
Please enlighten me as to how the Dushka is an upgrade over the .50 cal.
See the muzzle brake? That's how.
Also, more boolit!™ and rate of fire, if I remember correctly.
Same ammo supply as MG nests can't hurt either.
But the only part that one would notice is probably Soviet Maintenance on the DShK.
Maybe easier to get proper/decent AP ammo as well?
Because reasons.
idk, they just needed something that looked bigger.
The Browning M2 fires the well known .50 cal, to get really technical it's size is 12.7x99mm. The DsHK fires a similar but bigger 12.7x109mm.
The Russian round is a few grams heavier and a few m/s slower but the ballistic differences are negligible. The western round does, however, currently have more ammo types.
Though, that detail will probably go away in the next thirty year as well, now that Russian R&D more or less managed to mostly recover from the 90s. I wonder how much scarier a Raufoss would be with the extra nine milimetres.
Nit: 108mm.
more boom
Boom for the Boom God!
Shrapnel for the Shrapnel throne!
Dshkm*.
Dshkmabcde-M23A452*.
The launcher on the far left is the GLA's patented "Sperm Cannon"
More like a 88mm Soviet SPG-9 recoiless gun badly rendered because Zero Hour limitations.
It's a joke...
Its actualy based on an american 105mm recoiless rifle
you mean the M40 Recoilless Rifle?
(buried)
no its an 89.75mm Soviet-Belrussian Model SPG-9M4A2 Recoiless Rifle Gun, get ur facts strait omg
Do you even have any clue who your tying to correct?
I actualy made that gun using a M40 Recoiless Rifle as example while modeling this one.
So unless your trying to make yourself look like a complete idiot you get YOUR facts straight.
does anyone care about the guy carrying it?
Rawupload.org
I'm almost certain PotatoBob was being facetious.
Especially if you pay attention to the overly precise nature of the statement and the actual existence of such weapon.
give it a rest!,Its just a pipe that throws rockets or something xP
Reborn:X wuz wrong
Guys... guys...
he was talking about it's location.
maybe the guy carrying the weapon on the far left should shoulder mount it..I meant it will look better then tho...whatever...
or hold it from the side like kinjal from emperor: battle for dune
So much detail. I love it!
Inst that not a DSHK but a KPVT 14.5? to much of a size differance to be a DSHK over M2HB
If I had to caption this picture it would be "Making up for smaller things."
i just hope they change the sound of the machinegun
do you think maybe move the the stand more to the center of the rifle it just seems a little odd to me that it at the back of the weapon
Dat Dushka!
<whistles>
Those are some hot guns.
The M2 to the Americans adds insult to injury.
Is the DShK, while it cannot target air units (probably) due to the platform not being designed to target air units, just as powerful as the stationary base defense?
I think the gunner of the 105mm gun will have a lot of chest pain on the job.
I hope there will be the animation of gunner getting thrown out from the technical by the recoilless rifle's ejection and another one popping up...
J/K, but that's what would happen.
Not unlikely, since the GLA do use teleportation technology (tunnels, technicals, where do they all go?!)
look alot better than original
Yeah, Somebody looking for trouble !
When did the tor aa released
