Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
This towering fortress of authority acts as the ECA's command centre. It can withstand a considerable amount of punishment thanks to its heavily reinforced concrete walls and is usually the oldest structure in a European-controlled front sector as evidenced by the presence of motivational posters and graffiti which, despite being against official regulations, have not been ordered removed by the rugged senior commanders housed inside this facility. In addition to being the nerve centre of ECA battlefield control, the Region Command is equipped with a powerful diesel generator that provides sufficient amounts of power for the early phase of a battle and the sturdy bunker structures can be garrisoned by infantrymen who are willing to fight until the very end. Due to its strategic importance, there can only be one Region Command in a sector at a time.

Comr4ade said it'll still bite the big one after 2 SW strikes like all the other Command Centers, but someone did say that the ECA gets something that can build Excavators that's not capped on the forums. Which is also where the Media Update accompanying this is at since Moddb is slow about that.

The ECA so is going to be my type of faction all there main tactics are everything i use cause i like building impenetrable bases and using long-range artillery.
Thats the kind of tactics I do, but I also like setting up forward bases.

Remember that the story went like this: GLA put a heavy toll over the Russian Rapid deployment general Orlov in Africa and the ECA German general Wolfgang was suppose to help Orlov to push away the GLA, but instead coward Wolfgang let the Russians die in the hands of the GLA warlord, it was general Nikita Alexandr of the advance weapon general who came to help Orlov to evacuate from the battle holocaust. Now Russia is so ****** off with the incompetence of ECA. One of the reason why Russia went Berserk against the ECA, btw the ECA probably wanted the lost land that the Russian had to abandon in Africa !?!?

I scale a huge Black Bear Sentinel tank with nuclear power !!! Only one can be built, but you can fully upgrade it with ARENA and WARDEN pods. The Golem heavy tank is tougher and slightly bigger, the Paladin tank is tougher and slightly bigger, the Overlord is bigger and tougher, etc.
The file is a modified ROTRini.GIB
If you're interested to try it just give me a call.
Remember to copy the original ROTRini.GIB file somewhere else if you feel to come back to the original gameplay.
If you have suggestions to increment certain thing for your own taste just tell me what you need. :)

As for now I am able to scale units, change their firepower, their special effects, bring building larger stronger, change armor effect, super-weapon effect, unit behavior (weapon preferences according to circumstances) to avoid collateral damage, etc. For now I'll bring you tommorow the "mutated" ROTRini.GIB file. I will check the ROTR AI.gib file, which eventually they have there all the AI scripts integers. As soon I mess up around in that file and things get good, I while give you a new AI GIB file. :)
I am also designing new monstrous units in AutoCAD.DXF, but I don't know yet how to make a proper transfer in GMAX file to animate them and put textures.
I do this for the fun. Since the SWR team doesn't like taking suggestions so I went in a mass brute force spree by learning to change things for extra hardcore gaming -more carnage for the public-. >:) Oh! Yeah! By doing so I can customize the game for a personal preferences.

They do take suggestions only if its a LARGE group who is willing to bring changes in the gameplay. If its 1 or 2 people, they don't consider them.
About causing mass damage when a supweapon is destroyed, yes that's easy, but for the moment try the ROTRini.GIB, I will make another ROTRini.GIB file with the nasty surprise of that when some buildings are destroyed they can cause collateral damage. As for the upcoming of the ECA, their structures seems to be heavily fortified, I am going to create the Soviet-Russian 2B1 OKA Трансформатор "TRANSFORMATOR" 420mm Mortar shells 20 meters long cannon !!! with nuclear-concrete piercing rounds, it means that it work like a massive Bunker-Buster. A very-very powerful super-heavy artillery cannon.

While the Sentinel tank seem to be based on the upcoming of the 4e generation T-95-99 ARMATA tank in 2013, which is the heaviest modern tank in the 21e century it sports a 152mm gun !!! and shadows the western Leopard 2A7+ ,the Chally-2 and the M1A2 Abrams SEP TUSK in size and firepower.

To find the .GIB file, you go directly in the directory of Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour, this is where all your ROTR GIB files are. Now you have to remove a file called !BetaRotr_INI.gib and make a copy of the original one in another file in your Hard-disk I.E. ROTR-FILES (for the reason if you want to come back to your orginal gameplay) and replace it with the new !BetaRotr_INI.gib file which I am going to give to you. *** But where is your E-mail to send you the modified !BetaRotr_INI.gib file ???
