The Empire has fallen and a New Republic is born out of the conflict. But in the ashes of civil war, yet another life stirs...
Technically a moon that orbits the gas giant called Yavin Prime, Yavin IV has a long history that dates back to the ancient days of the very first Sith Lords. In fact, the many temples and ruins that dot the landscape were built and inhabited by the Sith that colonized this world. Millennia later, Yavin IV had been abandoned for generations, all that remained of the mighty Sith that lived there were ruins and ghosts.
The Rebel Alliance would make their base on Yavin prior to the destruction of the first Death Star and later, Luke Skywalker would return and convert the ancient structures into a training ground for new Jedi, an ironic fate given their origins. However, the task was not easy as many of the ruins still had an aura of darkness surrounding them and many of Luke's initial students were in fact tempted to the dark side by the shades of fallen Sith Lords that still haunted the grounds. In the end, Skywalker and his students would cleanse the planet of the taint of ancient Sith and Yavin IV would be nothing more than a jungle moon scattered with antique curiosities and structures.
In game, control of Yavin IV will decrease the training time of force users.
very nice can't wait until the next version
Looks very well done. I am slowly getting more and more hype for the next release.
Any chance for an appearance of the remains of the first Death Star - perhaps having older, capturable Imperial units?
Debris is in the background of this image ;)
As for capturable units...none at this time. However, the land map for Yavin IV will have some post-battle of Yavin surprises and easter eggs.
Hoping a certain crashed TIE will be one of those ;) Can't wait to discover them all.
Not telling...
Okay will wait and see...
get around this planet and blow it up!
will the mandalorians have some sort of "jedi hunters"? that way they might be abe too counter those pesky force users
The Mandalorian Protectors will be the "anti-force" unit, if you will. Technically, ALL Mandalorians are a force that even a Jedi might think twice about but the Protectors specifically are highly trained and experienced.
