FYI, ignore the actual map...it is garbage. Just needed something to show the wave prop.

The water is incredibly lifelike and totally awesome. A truly beautiful job, the_Farseer!

Not bad for a game this old. Looks a bit weird because there is no skybox. I'm curious to see it ingame.

There is a skybox, actually. I need to lower the clouds on the texture though, so its visible without cranking to camera to 70 degrees lol. This specific skybox is just open ocean though...so its mostly blue anyway.

Description

THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS.
New shader which uses sine waves, texture scrolling, and reflection to simulate a more realistic ocean environment.
Default ocean maps use the games standard water, which is a simple scrolling normal map over a flat, semi-transparent surface. This works great for lakes and ponds but the open ocean? Not as much... Maps like Manaan, Dac, and Kamino (especially stormy Kamino) needed something to boost the visuals and really make it feel like you were at sea.
