Looks tough. I'm guessing this will be either a superlight corvette, gunship or heavy fighter?

I hope you include the Scyk, it's petite size make it seem like the perfect interceptor or scout vehicle.

Oh, that reminds me. Without corruption the Mandalorans have no way of gaining intel on nearby sectors, in the current version I always have to invade "blind". Meanwhile the Empire has probes and the Rebe- *ahem* Republic, has the droid duo.

Anyway, great work as usual Farseer! Cheers!

Yes, the upgrade system in GC isn't suitable anymore and I have some ideas how to adjust it. It won't be the same as it currently is.

It's about the same size as a CR-90. So it's not a superlight per-se. More like a "pocket cruiser" or something to that effect.

The Scyk fighter will be included in the side-factions update, post-release. It will be a Hutt unit, rather than Mandalorian. The logic behind that is that with the invention of the Gladiator, Kyr-Galaar, and others...the Scyk design was considered too obsolete to be worth revisiting. The Kyr-Galaar (which would eventually become the Bes'uliik fighter) is basically an all-in-one design that is meant to basically be an army all by itself. When you have a ship like that, you don't need many other designs. :)

Do the turrets rotate ?

As with all turrets in my mod, yes. I strive for quality...so leaving this little feature out would fall short of my aspirations.

The galaxy will soon see a new grand mandalorian crusade and soon all those who thought to challenge us will fall.

But everything changed, when the Yuuzhan Vong attacked.

Plans for a second crusade to end the chaos brought about by the fall of the Empire, do tend to get put on hold by extra-galactic invaders.

Looking good. So it will be a corvette but utilize a modified fighter locomotor like the corvettes in YVAW judging by the screenshots?

Yes, I planned to implement the locomotor in that way as well...they just beat me to the punch ;)

a modified fighter locomotor? So is it possible to customize locomotors? Could you point me in the general direction of how to do that?

This image showed up randomly in my Facebook feed a few days ago. Was reposted by one of my friends from the SW costuming scene who never even played EaW.

You're making waves, Far. ;)

One day, Rise of the Mandalorians will be a multinational conglomerate with a net worth of untold trillions, I will have bought immortality, and will have hired the best scientists in the world to develop and design a working set of Mandalorian armor that integrates with my personal starship (which they will also develop).

Marketing for that has to start somewhere ;)

Sick Model for the Krayt! I love It!

So I have a question about the exception errors if you think you can answer. So plenty of times or not one might try to run their mods of Empire of War FOC when all of a sudden they get a pop up that says

Exception!
See logfile.txt or _except.txt for details.

Sure enough today after like 4 years of coding I have been able to actually find said _except text file in my library (smh -.- I know) so my new challenge is understanding the error. The file tells me that something has a code pointer which does not have appropriate access (example, create a fighter squadron "kickass_squadron" and the squadron units are kick_ass fighters but you have not coded for kick_ass fighters and since <squadron_units> is a code pointer to SpaceUnit types (You can put star destroyers in squadrons if you wanted to if anyone was curious, not just starfighters but that would be weird I guess, they would need a lot of spacing.)

So I know the problem is I have made something that points to something that does not exist but it also provides an address within a stack dump (fancy data structures and what not) rather than slave through each file and looking I was wondering if you knew how to interpret addresses in bytes of data

This is a lot to ask for but I figure if there is a way it would be much more convenient that us modders learn that way we can correct our code quicker and faster.

Lol Right! I just made the discovery yesterday. I was expecting too much from my computer once I found it to tell me where the problem was in English/UTF-8 Encoding.

Yeah, they are almost always cryptic. Unless your job is to read them all day long, you really get no use from them because they're just hard to decipher.

Progress for version 5 is coming along well but it will likely not be until the end of the year until a release is ready. Hope you're there when that time comes! :)

Description

The Krayt Gunship (MkI-a) was originally commissioned from Mandal Motors by the Hutts, in order to bolster their already formidable navy. Like so many other criminal organizations, owning a Mandalorian-designed warship was a boon like no other; a sign that your syndicate meant business...and not the honest kind.

The Hutts enjoyed many years of use out of this spectacular design but ultimately were unwilling to pay the steep price the Mandalorians demanded in order to put them into full-scale production.

When the Mandalorians began to refit their navy and march into the galaxy again, the Krayt was revisited and improved. It now sees active duty in most Mandalorian front lines and has become iconic as a symbol of Mandalorian engineering as well as a physiological impairment for any navy unlucky enough to see one drop out of hyperspace before a yet larger fleet of deadly warships.

The MkII-b is armed with twin heavy-laser cannons for taking out frigates and other corvette type ships, a twin chin-mounted medium laser turret to dispatch fighters and provide light support against flanking corvettes, and a ventral light turret for dispatching fighters.
