Looks really good but also a bit "plain" without any markings on it.

There are team color markings but this was taken in map editor so they don't show up.

But wont those only be in skirmishes and not in galactic conquest ?

Nah, if you change the colorization code in the XML to one of the color's corresponding codes, you can add the markings in any of the colors you like (white, red, blue, green, pink, yellow etc).

Correct. I haven't edited the XML yet. Personally, I do kinda like it as-is but I'd be willing to play with some color too. I kind of like the idea of Mandalorian ships not having one team color in GC (like how Imps are blank, Rebs are rust red, etc). It would give individuality, to a point...since each Mando comes from a different clan and so on. There would have to be one uniting emblem though, since they are fighting for Fett now.

Personally, I can not see how you would add the same ship with different colors(except as different buildable option all together), but the unifying symbol could be the Mandalorian Protectors symbol, since that was what Boba's father, Jango, fought for until he was one of the last 4 or so alive(I think it was for, counting Spar).

Personally I like it as it is too, though. Mandalorian colors should be green-ish grey.

And do you have plans on adding the TOR Mandalorian warships too? Because they look really wicked xD and fit the Mado aestichs(?) of your mod mando's more then most other old Mandalorian vessels!

Ships inspired by, perhaps but not those ship types themselves. They are 2000+ years old by this time. It'd be like the Navy Seals going to war with the gear of a Roman Legionnaire.

There are ways to spawn random units from a single build option (a little script I was given by the Vong mod team). It could work for random textures too.

Eh, inspired by is good, then again I could implement them myself once you release the mod ;P

I disagree on the navy seal part though, I mean even 2.000 years later it could still be effective, hell the Corporate Sector Authority used 3,000 year old dreadnaughts or the Hammerhead-class Cruiser that also served the Republic Navy from KotOR till the Ruusan Reformations!

And it is good to hear that the quality mods are trading knowledge with eachother!

That's a damn good point. However, the other thing that gives me hesitation is that the corporate sector has been around a while and wasn't blown to near-extinction like the Mandalorians. So, much of the old Mando tech would still be lost, or that's how I imagine it anyway. Actually, that's kind of my logic for Mandalorian tech advancement in GC mode. IE: you'll advance tech levels by capturing planets and recovering the lost tech left there. I suppose that that could manifest itself in the form of ancient ships of some kind (that would then only be buildable on that planet or something)

Yes, some guys on that team and I go back a long ways. We've been swapping mod tips and learning from each other for almost a decade in some cases.

Well, the Corporate Sector has only been around for 500-ish years, wich really isn't that long compared to most other factions!

And it makes sense that alot of Mandalorian tech where lost to the mists of times after they basicly became a battered, broken and scattered people after The Great Galactic War!

This looks really really cool, for an anti fighter based ship it looks like a real threat to anyone who'd come near it.

Will it still have the laser missile defence system?

Happy to see the more updates. And continues to look good, also very much like the description, sounds like an interesting unit to be able to play around with.

That's the idea. It won't be a jack-of-all-trades or support unit like most corvettes. Its specialized for anti fighter duty and meant for mid/late game. Its similar to how I have engineered the new Tartan, except the Tartan is a tier 1/early game.

Looks very nice. The wide-winged fighter in the bottom right image reminds me of the UNSC longsword fighter, what is it?

That is the Kyr'Galaar or "Death Hawk" in Mando'a. Its the prototype for the much better known Bes'uliik fighter that came about in the 'Legacy' era.

If I were to ever build Star Wars ships in a space building/adventure game like StarMade or Space Engineers, I'd probably base them heavily off your models over established canon just because of how cool you make things look compared to their bland origins and emphasis on visible weapons hardpoints.

Good work.

Description

Heavily inspired by old Mandalorian tech found buried deep in a Neo-Crusader weapons cache uncovered on Mandalore within the last 20 years, the aptly named Crusader Corvette is a sturdy and powerful ship for it's size. While it doesn't pack the heavier guns of some of the Corellian-designed corvettes, the sheer number of guns it has allows it to be nearly impervious to fighters on the battlefield. In fact, Mandalorian admirals that had no fighters at their disposal have been known to deploy a few Crusaders in lieu of the smaller ships in order to protect their larger vessels from bombers or other threats...without any worry that the Crusaders themselves might be vulnerable to such enemies.

The Cursader's main advantage though is it's speed. Equipped with three experimental engines (information classified), the ship can keep pace with most fighters; a shocking and often fatal discovery made by would-be attackers.
