So im working on improving the map textures of all the maps in SC2 this is going to take some time to do well more like time for my system to do when im sleeping any ways what do you guys think of the 1st screen shot vs the 2nd?

Indeed, how well does it run on lower spec computers however?
you know if you able to judge the diffrence. ;)
I would say you may lose a few frames but nothing huge ill be running more tests once I've finished them :).
the first one looks alot better then the 2nd... the 2nd one looks way too smooth.. it does not look very detailed (atleast not from that view distance)
Because of the smaller scale units the map textures will also need to be scaled down so there clearer which will make the unit a lot easier to see as well when zoomed in the HD textures will look around 3x better.

Is the top one the HD one cus that looks a lot more detailed than the bottom?
OK the 1st one is just a normal SC2 map texture unmodded, the 2nd one is a high resolution Texture Over double the size of the 1st when zoomed out it mite look smother but will have clearer and better detail when zoomed in.
I have this tendacy to zoom in on my army and get a good look @ them, and if thats now better then im all for this! I looked at this on high rez and full screen, bottom looks a lot better! Makes the top screen im so used to thinking looks good. . . . look awful lol

i say yes as a optional pack separate from the main mod.. if possible. and if not then a separate package with the HD Textures in
