An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

Hi all.
I LOVE command and conquer Red Alert 3... I used to be not so big on RTS games, but C&C:RA3 changed that...

What I wanted to say is that I've been researching the paradox mod, and what I've found so far has astounded me. The utter professionalism, quality, and dedication your team has is just... utterly unbelievable.

Literally, I just signed up to Mod DB JUST to say THAT.

Your project makes me wish I weren't a struggling college student right now.
If I had it, I swear, I would literally throw money AT you guys. The scope of this project is simply unheard of... And you're doing it for free?!?
At a free rate, this project might take a decade... and you might get discouraged... but never give up. This thing you're creating... it's one of the most wonderful things I've ever seen.

I do have to ask, though... I saw the video on Youtube for the Confederate MCV... What program are you using to make that? And how many polys is it in truck mode?

I'd love to help on my winter break, but I'm afraid you'd be spending too much time catching me up.

Oh, I'm a graphic design major. That's, uh, that's how I think I can help. Yeah. Throw more art at it. Awesome.

Non-sequiter ending,

Ammonhra

Dude, thanks so much for saying that. It's great to hear from fans.

The Confederate MCV was modelled and animated in 3ds Max 9. I think the truck model itself has somewhere in the area of 4,000 triangles.

If you do want to help over the winter break, that'd be totally awesome. We always have stuff that needs doing in art or code, and I think the skills from graphics design would translate well over to texturing. Do you know how to use photoshop well?

Thanks for saying that, it's these kind of posts that make doing this stuff awesome and fun :)

Any help is appreciated.

If you want more information on the project, we have a very active wiki.
