"Realistic Warfare" is realistic multiplayer mod for Call of Duty 4. It was designed to be played in the way "Tactical Realism". The main aim of this mod is to develop teamwork.
What's new :
- Weapons damage and spread rebalancing
- More bobbing when moving while aiming
- Enhanced management of damages by hitLoc ( hit location )
- Bleeding after being hit
- Bandaging function => serve to stop the blood drop
- New blood fX => each type of wound has it's own fX
- New flash effects
- New hurt overlay
- New effects when bleeding or being hit
- No zoom with iron and reflex sight
- 4x zoom on ACOG
- Light zoom on semi-automatic sniper rifles; medium zoom on bolt-action sniper rifles; high zoom on Barrett
- Losing the ammo left in the magazine when reloading
- Disarming C4 when shooting at ( only explosives can explode it )
- Blood drop fX when bleeding
- You can change the weapons damage with a .cfg
- Time before the helicopter or the airsrtike come
- Changing fire rate
- Realistic recoils
- Glow tweaking
- Lots more stuff...

Realistic Warfare is looking for servers to host it with an access to the console's logs. The main problem about the other tries was the point that I had no access to the logs so I couldn't find what was making the server crash... Anyway, if anyone have a server ( with a decent bandwith of course ^^ ) to host the mod for free ( I don't have enough money to put in the mod ) it could help to revive the mod.

How to install this ?put the folder into the "mod" folder ?

Oh yeah, I forgot that since the last modification was for the OSS server... You just have to wait that I found a good server to host my files ( better than source forge... ) and I'll upload them, my bad.

Well I'm actually working for some cash... BTW it seem's that the mod sometimes crashed on remote servers ( it doesn't happened when I host the game at home )... I have no idea where it comes from and I'm really to busy with my A-exam for now... Sorry, I migh come back later ( and maybe with another game xD ). I'm also currently learning to code on micro-controllers...
Yep, because that's a new mod and so there is not a lot of players that are going on the server, that's why I'll try to organise an event to regroup all the players together. But for that I have to pass my A-exam in first ^^
If anybody wants to give me a time and date, I'd definitely try this mod out!
I'll check back on this page and if anything major changes could ya PM me if there's gonna be a time? :)
I'm actually leaving CoD4 becaus ethe engine it's way much limited. I'll maybe try to give a go the crysis engine ( the next SDK release will be a full monthy ;) ) The mod is currently out and the last version will be upload when I'll find palce to stock it without having connection issues -_-
PS : There might an official event someday but I have no idea when i'll organise that, I have too much things to handle now. Sorry.
