Poke646: Vendetta mod for Half-Life

so much better than poke646. and the visuals? my god, i almost thought i was in system shock in the first half. so good

If you are interested in cheats in this game, you might noticed that if you use the "impulse 101" cheat you will have weapons from POKE646 also, BUT it mess up the weapon menu and most weapons don't have a crosshair.

Solution:(you must have installed the POKE646 for this to work)

Go to "spites" folder in the POKE646 and copy these files:
weapon_bradnailer
weapon_nailgun
weapon_xpl
weapon_xs
crosshairs.spr

Now go to the vendetta folder and paste them inside the sprite folder and overwrite the files.

Now when you use the cheat "impulse 101" you will have the weapons with crosshair and the weapon menu will be clear.IT WILL NOT have the icons of the older weapons, instead will be empty slots. Is better than nothing.Just use the mousewheel select and click to see all your weapons.

PS: I almost forgot, the cheat "impulse 101" does not summon the new weapon PAR21. So here is the cheat:

give weapon_par21
give ammo_par21_grenade

Ah, my second old love...(first is POKE646)

Simply an excellent mod same as the first Poke646!
Played them both when they were old already but the amount of audible detail and the love put into the leveldesign keep it more than playable even nowadays.
I enjoyed turning on the music at that sofa and recognizing it actually came as stereo from the positions of the 2 speakers.
I strongly suggest to play this mod with EAX on.
