Mudkip is a new, actively developed MOD based on HL2MP, which aims to be comical, yet structured. Currently the main focus is on weapon modification and creating maps which direct players to not just aim to shoot each other for frags, but to enjoy themselves using the theme of the game. The game mode programming is currently on pause until the new Source SDK is released, however there are a variety of maps available.
Mudkip currently has an official server which runs the latest beta. If you get a "map differs from server" error, use the beta 3 full installer below. The official server is graciously provided by PizzaDrill.

With the release of Beta 3, I'd like to ask everyone who has played Mudkip in the past to try and find friends who they believe would enjoy the game, and invite them to download the Beta 3 installer and give it a try. While things are going much better with the server than in the previous weeks, Mudkip still rarely goes over eight people in the official server.
I'd also like to make note of the next planned get-together for all Mudkip players, which is friday at 7:00 PM Pacific. There is an event posted in the group. If it is successful, I will turn it into a weekly event and hopefully extend it to other days as well.

Still works fine.. and I find it hard to believe no one plays. The server was FULL when it was played, it went down for what.. a week? and no one played anymore.. wtf.

Okay, nothing works. I got this error:

Apparently it means HDR is complied wrongly (har). I hope this is me and not the mod.
