Mudkip is a new, actively developed MOD based on HL2MP, which aims to be comical, yet structured. Currently the main focus is on weapon modification and creating maps which direct players to not just aim to shoot each other for frags, but to enjoy themselves using the theme of the game. The game mode programming is currently on pause until the new Source SDK is released, however there are a variety of maps available.
Mudkip currently has an official server which runs the latest beta. If you get a "map differs from server" error, use the beta 3 full installer below. The official server is graciously provided by PizzaDrill.

Within a few days time, I hope to have an installer ready for Mudkip 0.1 Beta 1. This means installing the game will be much simpler than following the directions on the wiki, which requires installing third party software just to install the game.
You may be wondering why I would go to such a length in difficulty for you to just get the files, and it is quite simply my own personal ease. It is incredibly easy for me to push new maps or other game files to clients with the current SVN system, rather than having to pull all the new files together, make a patch, make an installer, test both, upload both to a server, and then inform clients of the new version. This was because of the rapid changes during the very beginnings of development. However, with beta 1, I will have the normal installer/patcher system back in place.
If you are holding off until the SVN system is abandoned, then I hope to see you soon. :)

If you're gonna release something this early, you may as well put your code (I doubt much has been changed as of now) on a svn so anonymous people can contribute features.
