The paramedics report that they were unable to find his eyes. We think he may have eaten them.

I've uploaded two new things to the download site. The first is a fully patched version of Korsakovia, so this is the one to grab if you don't already have the mod. Do the normal unzipping thing into your SourceMods folder.
The second is the patch itself, which you can apply to existing downloads of Korsakovia. It's a much smaller download, so opt for that if you have already grabbed the game once.
Thanks to everyone who mailed in suggestions and support - it's really appreciated, and hopefully we'll be announcing a new project soon.

This patch by William Cook repairs the flashlight and Collectors. It should be installed after the V1.1 patch by Doogie4Ever onto your existing build...
This patch fixes the Source update errors in original versions of Korsakovia. Alternatively, you can download v1.1 (this will be quicker). The patch was...
Just because you asked so nicely... here's the script for Korsakovia.
I'm feel sane after this
Thank you
no, it has not been fixed. launched from desura (is there any other way?), it crashes each time (no exception) at the top of the ladder in the water-well (2nd part?) with a classic: "hl2 stopped working..." btw., Dear Esther is NOT a game but simply a story with almost perfect demonstration of graphic engine.
If it don't show in Your Steam library; launch it through Desura. Works for me. :) If You already have mod installed in Steam, search for it in Desura and claim that You only want to verify files, not redownload them.
Thought I'd try to actually finish this after giving up on it all those years ago but as the previous comments have said it doesn't show in the library.
I cannot get this mod to appear in Steam's library. Please help!!!
Huh, for some reason, it refuses to show in my library. I have all the Half-Life games installed and running, the 2007 base, and I have other 2007 base mods appearing perfectly fine...
It's the way AdditionalContentID is setup. I changed it from a single block to three strings and it's showing up now, but I don't know if it'll work yet.
It doesn't, crashes when loading the background map.
What a crappy mod, not only did I have to have near 50% volume to hear the dialogue, then the static came and broke my ears.
Afterwards getting some fast progress and eventually having 3 scraps of dialogue mashed in with the static and ambience.
Who the hell wants to listen to music in a horror game?
No visible health (never died, I think i'm immortal) no visible sprint of flashlight.
Plain bad dialogue as psychological crap-"horror" usually does.
Not scary, didn't even jump at any time, too loud ambience to make it creepy, was more annoying than scary, luckily f6+f9 fixed all the stupid sounds.
Plain bad enemy design, they are after you, they push you, you can kill them but not without going against a corner and getting hits while at it.
Conclusion, what a stupid mod.
