Korsakovia is a new experimental mod by the makers of Dear Esther. It's a survival horror about delusion, paranoia and the end of the world.
Resolution Magazine said they've "Never played a game that fucked with me so much" and that "It’s rare for a game to instil such panic. It’s up there with ‘Shock 2 and Silent Hill in that respect".
Hide the matches, break the TV screen, gouge out your eyes, turn out the lights and play it on your own late at night.

Also, Pinchbeck, you should write a novel.

I fucking love you.
damn this HAS to have ep2? me want this!
Love the mod. A bit. The most ugliest thing is that it's hard to see where you need to go. and those black clouds.. dammit. I know they are just fast zombies but they are just annoying me. We need to replace them or something... lol.
You guys do a great job of meshing storytelling with game play. This overall was an excellent mod I thought. A few gripes though, I got incredibly frustrated with the flashing that occurred near the end. In those circumstances it kind of helps to be able to see what you're doing. I died multiple times because of the environmental flash effects, almost gave up on the mod right then despite how much I liked the story. It broke the immersion completely. That and the invisible flying enemies, they were just plain irritating. There was a ton of backtracking, that's a cheap development trick. The big problem though was as I got more wrapped up in the story I just found the enemies overall to be irritating. They after the first few they weren't scary at all. I think better placement and a lower enemy count would of gotten a better effect. A good example being Afraid of Monsters, the developer managed to make even the weakest enemy type still scary down to the end just because of placement. All in all though, this was a great mod, the story and the visual aspects of the final chapter made it worth playing. Looking forward to the next mod!
I know most people will disagree with me. I found this mod extremely boring since its start. The mapping is overall blocky and simple. The decals are badly positioned. Maps are not very detailed. The story is by far the most weird and stupid I've ever seen. It's also boring to get through a whole map just to pick up a god damn crowbar just to fight even more "Collectors". I've stopped playing it on Chapter 3 once I got the crowbar. Stupid mod, Dear Esther is sure better. I'am not one of these shoot 'em up fan. I like every kind of game and mod. But this one failed on my opinion.
Work on it more. I'am just a guy that likes nicely made mods.
scariest game ive played by far!!
