V 1.5 is released! Check Harrisonfog.wixsite.com for news, FAQ & more info!
If you encounter any error or have trouble installing the mod, read this: Harrisonfog.wixsite.com (I wrote down everything I know about troubleshooting, if the answer is not there I'm afraid I can't help you find a fix)
My main objective was to make the game more realistic by sharpening the image, normalizing color saturation, improving game lighting, using a more subtle bloom and making it compatible with ALL the maps (there are some well known graphics enhancers that are glitchy in white maps like Hoth, or in Space).
I tried this mod succesfully in every default map. It works amazingly with Battlefront Evolved Mod, which improves the game models and textures, and Rezzed Maps, which are High Definition maps. You can download my rezzed maps here: Moddb.com
There is a considerable improvement in ground maps (especially HD maps), and a slight improvement in space maps. I found that if you exagerate the configuration values you might get good results for space, but then ground maps would look oversaturated or just too bloomish, making it impossible to play. I tried the mod to be balanced, and I hope you give credit if you use it in any way.
Move the content of the "GraphicsMod" folder into your GameData folder. The files must be in the same folder where "BattlefrontII.exe" is.
UPDATE: Turn ingame bloom OFF. This is what makes the lightsabers look horrible and maps like Mustafar have too much bloom.
Trigger key in game: F11 (buggy, you need to try several times). Youtu.be for a quick video tutorial.

1) Game lags, long loading screens: Most likely you need better hardware, you have too many mods or something installed wrong.
2) Graphics Error: Update drivers, reinstall game, try reshade in other games.
If you still have issues, It's beyond my comprehension. May the force be with you,
PLEASE GIVE CREDIT IF YOU MY MOD (Youtubers. I got my eye on you :P ) For the record, 1.0 was based on 2016 Graphics Mod made by NMir.

It's looking beautiful: every texture has been redone, there are new props, new sky and background, something I'll call "3d enhancing" (for flat textures) and much more... You can find it in my mod site.
Why beta? Well, in my opinion it is far from finished, but it looks good enough for you to test. I want to make sure it works properly for everyone and to be tested online (I don't play online) before even thinking of a final version.
So, what's missing? mostly details I still need to work on but don't affect playability: some textures like the consoles in the command center, small generators, the small lights and doors in the rebel hangar, etc. Those are resized stock textures that will be replaced in the future. The area out of the battleground (le'ts call it landscape) is temporal too, it will be better designed for the final version. I focused on the priorities first!
This is how the map looks using my Graphics Mod. I warn you that the map may look dark without it, since I balanced the whole map to be used with the GPX mod (Reminder - white color triggers bloom...)
Here you can see some of the new props included + the redone HD turrets.
Beautiful Bf3 snowspeeder using Delta's GCW mod. (the map doesn't include new units)
Added that blueish look by mixing map effects + my Hd graphics mod. Resembles the new BF look.
I took some artistic license with the bunkers... hope you like them!
Credits: Gogie for the awesome looking crates and Delta's GCW mod.
As usually, not recommended for really old PC (meaning you can't handle BF2 + the graphics mod) as it looks best with the graphics mod on and I only care about improving graphics! I'm sorry :(
