This is our Pillar of Autumn-style refit Halcyon-class cruiser firing its modified MAC. Lore-wise this weapon can fire three consecutive shots per charge. Here is our demo of the in-game effect.
I hope to god you’re not using the starfield background from the Stargate mod, it’s full of edge lines where they messed up the clone tool or whatever they used.

why dont you just use a soft ereaser brush to get rid of those edgy lines so they get a smooth transition? thats what I do when I use multiple textures in one place
Swiss, the Starfields in SGI are stock, if I am not mistaken, and I shouldn't be I'm the Project Lead. We are slowly working on replacing them, and any help would be great.

This is a capital ship. The cruiser variant isn't refit.

cool. awesome job, and the 3 shots per charge thing is accurate, comparing to what Cpt. Jacob Keyes did when he created the famous "Keyes Loop" against a Covenant Battlecruiser. Awesome job! =)
The Keyes loop was against a Cov destroyer, carrier and two frigates, no battlecruiser was involved also Keyes ship at the time was the destroyer Iroquois and the MAC 3 shot upgrade only appeared on the POA refit afterwards and used during Reaches Fall.

Is it just me or is the effect rather large compared to the ship? Looks nice though.
It is a little large, we're desperately looking for someone who can do particle effects to change this and a few other things.
First I was like: Um, did my computer freeze? Then I was like: Holy ****! That was awesome! Oh ya, and will this be an ability, or will this automatically come with the ship? Because, I personally think this should be an ability, but require a high rank/level.
This is the standard MAC effect for the Refit Version of the Halcyon. Having to manually fire every mac shot she took would be pretty ridiculous. To clarify, this is the capital ship version of Halcyon. We also have a cruiser version, which does not have a triple-shot MAC. You're paying out the *** for this ship's dps.
You don't have to manually set it, you could just make it as an auto-casting ability with a reasonable recharge timer.
