The completed model for the Super-MAC Defense Platform, only thing it needs now is some love from Zero and she'll be good to go.
wait...so will frigates be able to dock with this? or is it just to show the scale? :)

So, how much firepower will the big stick have?
Probably enough to destroy the assault carrier in about two shots.
First shot kills the shields.
Second shot cores the sodding bastard.
However this is speculation by a fan who has been following for a very long time.
(For first post of said fan look for the original super-carrier beware of hyper-active just hit puberty and thought he could at least help fanboy who had been drooling at said picture for weeks)
The boom stick will effectively dissable an assault carrier to most likely 1/4 hull remaining. To counter an SMAC would be to send wings of bombers and possibly corvettes to overwhelm it since it will be able to range half the map and can be especially powerful if you have a slip space inhibitor. When cortana lit up one of the assault carriers with Cairo station, it effectively destroyed it.
Will the defense armament be light as in a few CIWS batteries or will it have something a little heavier with some Heavy Turrets and deck guns? I know for mine I had intended to just put CIWS and some anti-fighter missile batteries at the most.
Yeah it will just have the CIWS and frigate turrets on thrm .
From what I know, these things can fire shells the size of a house... I would love to throw houses at covvies!
