Our representation of Halo's iconic space combat in the Homeworld 2 engine, putting the player in command of some of the most powerful weapons fielded by the UNSC and Covenant and providing a balanced and competative experience.
There hasn't been a lot of work coming my way. As I started redoing the UNSC specular and gloss maps to be more interesting, I noticed the Covenant were pretty lackluster so I decided to touch them up as well.
I removed the hex pattern since it was barely visible and instead opted for a more diverse specular map. The gloss map has also been adjusted to display more of a difference between the dark armored parts and the elegant blue parts. The armor parts have little to no gloss so they take more direct light while the main body has a moderate gloss pass so light is more dissolved across the surface to give it a polished shine.
