On average, it depends on how average the map is. It takes me a while... But I hope my maps are above average.

The Scale of the road compared to the scenery/statics/props looks a bit off, but maybe im just too picky :)

Yeah, the lines are big compared to the cars, however, when you have vehicles like the Oliphant driving around, you need lanes and such to be obvious. lol. Dunno. I don't think it's too big a deal, personally.

for props would you have destroyed scarabs, and for some maps, like halo 3 and halo 3 odst have peices of the space evivator every where. because in halo 3 i saw lots of them every where.

Though I love your work, I think there's a need for contructive criticism:
a) Lines are too big compared to cars. They are even wider than cars! And they are too bright, the contrast looks quite disturbing.
b) Blood is too dark. There is too much contrast between colours in the texture itself.
c) Covenant and human deployable defences are too close to themselves. Did they deploy them right in the middle of the battle? It makes no sense:)

a) Yes
b) Also yes and has already been fixed since this screen cap
c) Covenant shields are portable, remember. So yes, they were deployed during combat.

my only suggestions is add a few more cars, make it slightly longer (thats what she said), and make it have three dotted lines on either side of the yellow. the cars woul simulate a better population feel (imo), the bridge being longer would put it in better proportion, and the additional lines i think would solve the problem of giant spaces.

just my opinions though, fantastic work. PS if it takes a while to make maps, why are you lurking here? and if your making maps, is the bulk of gameplay ready? ;)

Only issue is more cars = less space for the larger units to move. The bulk of the playing field needs to be open enough for units like the Elephant to get around in.

I have an idea that would make it so you could have more cars littering the streets, and have the large units moving. I don't know how well this would work, but could you make the cars as infantry and have the large units crush them as if they were infantry?

I can only say like many others said. The lines are way too big. At least make the yellow lanes smaller in width. The crossing marks are oookay.
Street lamps definatly too small even though it is the future it still would need to be placed higher for a better light distribution. :P

is it possible to add for the covanant turret options to have jackal sniper gravity lift pad thing. that has two jackal snipers or a grunt version that has three grunts with 3 plasma cannons, both of them are in halo 3.

well i have an idea how it could function, have them buildable only on neutral turret pads. and for the human counter part have a sniper pad that looks like a small building, that carrieis either two odst snipers, or 3 minigun marines.

Since the mod has permenant corpses and damage decals, I figure this effect will "self generate" as the battle goes on. Allowing this to happen and not just placing props not only helps cpu usage but makes the damage somewhat unique each time you play. Make sense?

I have to say its great 2 things 1 i like the dead marine slumped against the barricade and the 2 random terminal it reminds me of a pay phone lol other than that everything looks good. points i would've made have already been adressed

Description

This is another decal/urban/alpha footage screen shot. The difference between this screen and the last one is that this is an actual map I am working on for the mod and is not 30 second mash up. However, this map is still very much a work in progress. This little bridge is the most complete part of the map so far.
