Half-Life 2 mod | Released Feb 7, 2009

GoldenEye: Source is a modification of Half-Life 2, with only one goal in mind; to bring the memories and experiences from the original GoldenEye64 back to life using Source Technology. We want you to look at this mod and remember the first best multiplayer first-person shooter ever made. We are doing our best to bring in the opinions of the community to create a game that everyone is going to enjoy. But, we are not here to recreate the game exactly how it was in GE64, a lot of things have changed since they first designed that game, mainly in technology and gamers experiences. We are here to take the game even further but at the same time provide a lot of those fun elements that hardcore GE64 fans will enjoy. We've got experienced team members all across the board, from professional level, to amateurs looking to make it into the business working hard to make this dream a reality.

Today has been a long day and thanks to educator from The G|2avel Pit i have been able to make a stable version of the patch. It will stay at version f until the GES team release there next update (unless some major bug rears its ugly head). Credit Goes to dlt for making the scoreboard back ground image (and the person who did the health bars as well!) and the rest of the GES team for doing a wonderful job (please support them in the moty 2007!). To Upgrade (if you installed last time):
*extract contents of rar into your steam folder (default C:\program files\steam)
*run update.bat
*play

To install:
*make sure Golden Eye Source Beta 1 is installed.
*extract contents of rar into your steam folder (default C:\program files\steam)
*run install.bat
*restart steam
*launch "Goldeneye: Source Beta 1.1f"

Server Install:
*make sure Golden Eye Source Beta 1 is installed.
*extract contents of rar into your SRCDS Root folder where files are downloaded to (gesource should be there as well)
*run server_install.bat
*change server to start from mod "gesbeta1_1"
*start server
