The frosty mod was designed to improve the feel of the Rainbow Six Vegas 2 gaming experience by making it faster, more fun, and more difficult. There are other rainbow mods out there that do an excellent job of duplicating realism and I can appreciate those who want to achieve that level of accuracy in their gaming. However, the frosty mod is not about realism. The frosty mod is all about the experience. When I first played rainbow six I could appreciate the tactical combat, however I found myself reluctant to use many of the weapons. I felt the base game weapons were plagued by short range, limited ammo, and sub-standard damage. This mod is my attempt to create game play that is fun, fast, and certainly more challenging. It is my hope that you will have as much fun playing it as I had making it.

Disclaimer: If you are new to the game or use to playing on normal, this
version is most likely not for you. I would recommend starting with
Frosty v2 if that's the case and work your way up. This version is for
the experienced player and represents a significantly greater level of
difficulty, as the bots use the same weapon modifications as you do.

I understand your point about it not being about realism, but there is a limit to that, being able to operate a shotgun like that is just ludicrous, and the obscenely large reticule too. Kinda fun though, good effort :-)

Hmm Yeah I can see that Splinter Cellesque or Metal Gear Solidness would be a nice addition. I prefer full FPS for this type of game personally.
the mod is good, for me as an veteran of Vegas 2 this is great, it really speeds things up, and makes the terrorists more deadly and with an added tehnogods mod for 99 terrorist it really gets tough. the 2 mods are really good together

Vegas was good but not hard same with Vegas 2 but the idea is to make the weapons more powerful so that when an AI shoots you its more likely to kill you with one shot instead of 4 or 5 shots. Works both ways even as a human player.
anyone figure out how to fix pistol draw speed? its severely slow it should be much much faster.

How can RSV2 be made harder?? i couldnt even complete the first level on xbox, its almost harder in coop aswell so why would you make an impossible game harder????
