Garry’s Mod is a sandbox mod for the Source Engine. Unlike normal games there aren't any predefined aims or goals. Players are given tools and are left to entertain themselves. The player is in a world where objects can be created and destroyed on demand. Where people can be created and destroyed with the click of a mouse. A world made for him. A world he made.

The guys over at Facepunch have a brand new comp for all the modders out there which simply put uses the popular Fretta framework that a whole lot of Garry's Mod modders use to help bring their game modes to life. With a whole stack of cash on offer and the opportunity to have your game mod release along side of the official GMOD updates, what prize could be better?
You can find all the information you need over at the official page on the Facepunch site which you can find here, since all you need is the latest version of Garry's Mod and just a little bit of creativity (seriously if you own Garry's Mod you at least have to have some that goes without saying). So no excuses get modding!

9 is free. (And buggy as hell)
Gmod is old now... They come up with crazy stuff but said ideas only satisfies them for a few seconds before they get bored again...
The community became elitist and out of a percentage of people you meet ingame, 30% of em are usually scumbags or minges...
The community is rather deplorable but I still find it nice to get together with some people, smart mature people, in GMOD and make spaceships or wire contraptions and have design contests.

Why don't you buy a new graphics card for 50$ ?
50$ card should be enough to play GMOD10 whitout problems!
