We are almost there! Beta 2.5 is coming well and here's a little video we made to showcase our new cooperative mode. As you can see, humans fighting against AI enemies, sometimes helped by some AI allies too. Hope you like it and just await until next Thursday, (March 12) when beta 2.5 will be released to public. Server files will be posted one day before .

I also would like to remember beta 2.5 will bring many gameplay changes to our team modes, new maps and weapons, improved animations, more speed in general, new skills like dodge jump, bots, improved notoriety system, and many more exciting features.

Normally one server with about 7 players in it!! good enough for me. An off putting thing is all the custom sounds from quake servers put on.

only 7 players? This video made it look like there were lots of players.... Oh yeah I forgot about bots, some of them could have been bots.

Has certainly come a very long way since it's first release. Excellent work on the AI guys and the improvements are brilliant. It is a shame that those complaining about certain aspects of the mod, are mostly those who are without any real talent and don't mod themselves. Constructive critics, I am sure, are always welcome...

We must be talented or a modder ourselves if we wish to complain and point out a mod's flaws?

The idea of putting your own work-in-progress mod on the public stage is to receive feedback, whether its given bluntly or covered in fluff. If you cant handle a customers grief with how poor your prerelease is, then you are really in the wrong hobby.

Why has everyone become so soft. Cant you take a few punches or just ignore the comments you dont like?

Regardless, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Great AI. Way cool to see the video in action. :D Cant wait for the beta.

What an ignorant thing to say, when 95%+ of those who come to the ModDB site are GAMERS, and ONLY gamers looking for mods... ModDB would not survive on modders alone. 5 million plus hits a week... hmmm, GAMERS, not modders... so the people "I" was talking about were GAMERS who can only COMPLAIN without giving CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, specific help and direction they believe the mod should take. Oh, and turkeys who reply to comments for attention out of inexperience and ignorance.

Nice work RYell and everyone else that have contributed.

I would like to say, the new shotgun (I tested it in the public playtest) is the most enjoyable weapon I've used in any game (out of all shotguns atleast). The sound, the look and the animations are in my opinion top notch, just like most of the things in this mod.

Can't wait for release :)
