0 comments by Leon_Kilean on Jan 9th, 2009 digg this super bookmark I´m working on this small map pack, where the player is portrayed in third person, and he has to sneak around monsters while doing simple puzzles. Big kudos to SDK-Projects for the answers with my troubles in the third person view, namely that I couldnt get the character to animate.... In the end, I just didnt realise I had the wrong activator for the game_ui. Should be cool. If Im realistic, it´ll be finished around the next christmas.

It just so happens that msn is the only messenger I use too, and the orange box has my only PC games. How convenient.
Brief Background info on me: I haven't necessarily delved deep enough into modding to make my own games, but enough to understand a good amount of the jargon related to modding. I am a relative novice in the modding world, but at least I'm diligent with maintaining connections and I'm not ignorant to video game design concepts. If you feel like I can be of some use, Let me know. You can even post a reply right here if it is convenient for you. I'm going to be constantly checking up on this page(a remote fanatic? only if you want me to be).

What kind of monster sounds are you thinking of, Human, animal or a mixture of the two? do you need movement sounds and other connecting sounds to accompany them?

The monster sounds Im looking for should remind of an human, but keep very inhuman... so there´s maybe talking, mumbling, but somehow very wrong. Think of a possessed person, and try to think of it as scary and threatening as possible. There´s a few different monsters, AND other random sound effects I might be interested in, but the monster sounds are the main focus.
Anyways, I´ll cover this all in the e-mail.
