First total conversion for Operation Flashpoint Resistance. Reworked config including for example more realistic recoils and weapon specs. New sounds for all OFP weapon systems, weather and enviroment. Finnish Defence Forces modelled in meticulous detail. Dozens of new weapons and vehicles. 16 new radio profiles in Finnish (that's 3000+ radio voices). One brand new island East Border in both summer and winter version, two hardly re-newed BIS islands: Desertish Al Maldajah and Balkanish autumn Maldevic. Trying to cover all Finnish equipment from 1939 to modern day...
Nowadays working on Armed Assault too. As the tools aren't out yet, we had to begin with sound pack, see our site for details and latest news.

After quite a long silence, we managed to gather our forces and release 1.4 update.
This release brings whole new era and equipment to FDF Mod: World War II.
- Many 1.3 bugs fixed, including fixed HALO script for multiplayer.
- Custom Islands "FDF: Rukajärvi" with new custom WW2 era objects and typical Finnish outback terrain, summer and winter.
- Dozens of new buildings, fortifications, trenches, houses etc.
- Dozens of armored units and weapons for Finnish WW2 front.
- Historically accurate Finnish summer and winter soldiers.
- Historically accurate Soviets '39, '41 and '43 summer and winter soldiers.
- Several Soviet and Finnish fighter planes of WW2.
- Tons of new sounds.
- Some new single and multiplayer missions.
- 2 new radio voice profiles, Finnish and one Finland-Swedish.
- Authentic WW2 music.
- New seagull feature for MP: Clicking the map moves you to new location instantly.
This update requires FDF Mod 1.3 and OFP version 1.96.

It was important to ww2. The Finnish showed how poor the russian army was at the time. Moscow recognized its problems and was able to fix a majority of them before Hitler invaded. Thus Russia was able to do better (within reason) then it could have done so before.
we all know how much findland contributed to the war......-_-
W00t, 1.4 has been released! :D The new added WW2 stuff is really great and gives variation from the modern FDF setting.
This really is the mod to have for OFP and overall, it's the best mod I've ever seen for a game! Unlike all those other mods/add-ons for ofp, FDFMOD has great SP and MP missions and a really superb campaign.
I hope the FDF team continues development and that it will port FDFMOD over to Armed Assault. :)
How did you make custom islands? :D The mission editor only is too blant for me ;)
