The only CS i have is counter strike: counter zero, but this is one cool i play it at my friends house.
I remember when CS was just a HL mod ;)

I was playing my counter strike source and portal i see what you mean so can we just ask valve to move the counter strike source to the orange box engine??

Second that. They did it with DOD:S so why not CS:S?
and CS:S was originally released with HL2 and they have not since updated it
And i have also noticed Orange Box graphically is better and it works better on my computer aswell.
because CS:S was tried to be kept oringial as CS because CS was such a success. The older source engine you can run on a shitter graphics card (like my nvidia 9300m)and so more ppl can play it at a highers setting than the source 2007 engine.
Surfing works in tf2 quite fine and it runs the ob engine. So i don't think it should be a problem.
