Update 3.0 for Counter Strike A Mix of 3 Eras
PatchThis is the one year anniversary update for Counter-Strike: A Mix of 3 Eras.
Ever wanted to experience an alternate universe where Counter-Strike: Source, CS:GO and CS2 are all one game? Then Counter-Strike: A Mix of 3 Eras is the mod for you! It combines reanimated and retextured CSS weapons with the sound effects of CS:GO and CS2, along with many other upgrades, such as improved map textures!
If you try to join a server and the game crashes or has broken textures, click "Read More" to see why.
Here are a few highlights of Counter-Strike: A Mix of 3 Eras
1. Improved textures for most maps.
2. High quality weapon textures with amazing details and lighting.
3. Simple and modern UI that is straight to the point and easy to use.
4. New features that were either removed or not originally in CS Source (like audio test map).
One of the added features is the console command "csmod_about", which will display version info of the mod and a link to this Moddb page!

WARNING!
Game servers that have the cvar "sv_pure" set to 1 will not work with this mod (crashes). Some servers with this cvar set to 0 might have weird glitches and broken textures. If your favorite server doesn't work with this mod there is nothing you can do other than trying a different server or a different mod. The reason why this happens is because CS: A Mix of 3 Eras modifies a lot of files and "sv_pure" makes sure people don't cheat by modifying certain elements of their game (like getting a wallhack by making all textures transparent). No cheats of any sort are included in this mod. Below are some server owners that have compatible servers:

How do you even install this?
Locate your Counter-Strike Source installation, then look in the "cstrike" folder for a folder called "custom". Unzip the mod folder inside there and it should work (note that the custom folder should contain just the main mod folder, not things like "sound" or "materials" since it will not work).
