wow, was more difficultier than i was thinking: the tram was (is) moving with a movie sequence. if i now destroy the tram, i would like to stop it. the onliest possible command beside playsequence was stopsequence, which makes a "jump to end sequece end", (to stop position). so the wrecked tram disapeared immediately.
looking in SDK i really does not find a lua exported "Pause" command. so i have had to code new routines which spawns the wrecked model on command on current entity (tram) position, captures the given materials (if any existent), give it to the wrecked model, spawn the explosions particles and THEN i gave the StopSequence Command, which teleports away the original (now also (!) broken) model to sequence end position.
ofcourse this all happens in one frame, so its not possible to see that trick, but finally it works flawless.
have now to create countless broken tram particles and broken rubish, this is always the hardest part for destroyable objects -.-
if here is someone who is more familiar with Track view: is there a stop condition which can be removed, so a "stop" command just interrupts the movie?

have player I.G.I.2 two weaks ago for researches :D just to be sure to capture a little bit the look and feel (it was many years ago that i have played it last time).
the core part i take is infiltration, which is corrected by the RPG system i have build in (weight/mass system vs slot management vs training/running speed vs food management vs day/night -light management). it should be MUCH more deep than IGI / IGI2.
