Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
testing the map, driving around and was first testing if i also can crash a roadsign with vehicle and that is what happened :D the pole "dives" into the motorblock and the vehicle starts flying in to the air with more then 100km/h :D that is the stuff which appears randomly every day, which just exceed developing and makes nearly impossible to give exact releasedates ;( i also have currently a skyjumping ladderbug, very strange: some ladders randomly speed up playerclimbing upwards by factor 100 which results player catapulting into the sky with very hard falling damage :D and i absolutely have no idea where this comes from :D (about 1 of 15 ladders)
so i have to spend every day about 1-2 hours in coding and 1hour mapping and 1 hour modelling in 3dsmax. but there is some progress :D
especially this roadsign bug will be easy to fix: have used a not self modelled pole, if i replace it with a own pole with a physichull which can't dive into other physichulls, all will be fine :) ( a work of 60 seconds, but i really dont expect that i really have to rerig or remodel such basic things. Farcry was originally not designed for this physic gameplay -.- )

i think it should get a own thread in the Forum here, so users can discuss and share later his presets and post screenshots. if i have time i will insert a sweet FX subtopic, i will inform you if is done, so we can post the first inital thread, but maybe we should wait for this map release (map is finished, just need bugfixing in code, add AI, wave-sets of enemies and inserting all pickups and story and missionpoints, will need 1-2 weeks).

thats hell of a lot of work you put in this. =O
yeah, i literally have had to rerig every single little stone. currently *.max count in objectfolder in this pure devkid release version is 2175. that means i rigged or rerigged for this devkid 2175 objects, mostly including uvwmap, own physic meshes and shadow thrower meshes (that means 2175 objects which have additional 1-2 subobjectes which are merged inside). the max files size is over 3.3gb in size :D
