Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
--> 3.1.2015 picture have been replaced by actualler one, it have now much more concrete pieces, its now a mix of use-and destroyable props and "vegetation".

there is a funny ... story behind: i accidentally gave the terrain my new mat_concrete (which spawns destroyed concrete pieces on penetration), and in a fight, when enemies miss you and bullets digg right beside the player in the asphalt or obstacles, mass of concrete pieces were spawned, and what should i say, it looked really epic :D ofcourse i leaved that in but i expanded the look and feel by placing massive amount of "predefined" concrete pieces. the bigger ones, ( ~40 cm) are destroyable, usable, throwable, what ever, the real big ones, the material plate stables, are the devkid-"common" destroyable obstacles, which is funny if you try to get hide in a fight behind and they get shoot in small pieces :D i played often stalker the last week, which have nearly identical concrete stables, and they are (ofcourse) static. in a fight MUUUUACH more boring because of total non interactivity. found also that the AI is cheating in stalker, they can see thrue some things, for example a metal train wagon. but overall i think the AI in stalker is smarter than in farcry, which i never thought, because i always was thinking farcry1 have the smartest KI i know. however, i hope the mod will bring the best things of both worlds together, atleast the gunplay in farcry is 100% better than in stalker, also my implementation of mass and playerstrengthness works better / more transparent for player.
I personally prefer Far Cry from one simple reason I played it much sooner that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series but both of these games have their cons and pluses.
a love the athmosphere from stalker, very good sound ambience, the buildings (just breathtaking, but i dislike a little bit the missionspamming during a running mission. i like more the GTA style: no free or submissions if player is inside a mission.
I agree and both of them are great games and that’s important.
