Drar is captain of Dain's rear guard, a keen crossbowman whose heavy pavise shield makes him unusually resilient for a ranged hero.

I'm really amazed by the idea of giving him a shield, it's very original and I find it great. Good choice to not give him a helmet.
it actually isnt a new idea... pavese shields had actually been used by crossbowmen in the middle age to protect against counter fire
I was rather talking about the mod itself: Drar will be the first ranged unit with a shield, right? (heroes who can switch do not count :P)

In the past, there was Mauhur as a crossbow hero. And there was Oin as an Easteregg, who had a gun, but used the same animations.
Right, I forgot Mahur. Still it's the only crossbow hero currently ;)
And not your average crossbow hero, but one with a fricking deployable pavise shield!
Which is AWESOME!....
But would be possible to give Drar different Looking Crossbow!? :) Just a question! :)
