Well, the resemblance to the films' concept was one the main purposes of this 'REVOLUTION' :)

Therefore, given that it would have not been very possible a total adaptation, we might consider it as a good, very good, compromise.

That's what I love about the Edain team, they're willing to go against their own personal choice to satisfy their fans, I think the idea of compromising movie and book images coupled with the Edains own unique style is SPECTACULAR, if they don't win number 1 now I'll be surprised !

Best surprise ever!Really masterpiece of Work !

Now that Iron Hills will be the more Heavy Armor faction can I make just small suggestion, when they get the Heavy Armor to get Chain Mail instead of Clothes on some of the parts~!? :) just a question! :)

Well you could, but in Heavy Armor there is only one piece of Cloth left: The tunic. Turning that also into Chainmail would make them mostly grey, which in theory might be okay, but also a bit dull. ;)

Yes, if you cover the tunic on heavy armor with chain mail the red goes out, and that's the colour of the Iron Hills in Edain, and part of the reason that makes this blending of movie with old design so great.

They really look amazing!!!

A litte question: how exactly this shield upgrade works? Will it be something like the Horseman Shields, I mean, will it increase their armor against a particular type of damage?

Anyway, great job Edain Team!! :)

Description

Probably the most requested change in the history of Edain: The Dwarves of the Iron Hills have been extensively reworked to blend the movie style with our own themes. They carry heavy armor and shields based on the film, but sport forked beards as described in the book and their signature color is red as introduced in previous Edain versions. Their gameplay has been redesigned as well: Where previously the Iron Hills were a fast and aggressive faction, they now focus on heavily armored troops.
