Good decision with the nazgul reveal as faction spell
Those guys are some of my favourite villians ever and being forced to go always the same path in the spellbook was annoying.

Same as old spellbooks, so what is the big deal of changing all spellbooks of the all factions that thy don't bring sth so unique or new... This only delays the main update of goblins... They probably bring all major updates at Mod of Year 2017 of moddb :(

There are probably some other problems and issues which lead to delaying goblins only team knows about. However, i also think they are doing unnecessary changes almost nobody was requiring and then releasing goblins to further break the balance made in 4.5. Change of Cirdan, theodred etc while everybody grunts about two thorin's beeing superheroes and other issues.

Change in economy and new spellbooks are very worth it I think, but I would take goblins instead every time :/

The forthcoming overhauls were certainly not dictated by disturbing issues or imperative circumstances. Sometimes, things do change for the sake of trying to find other suitable alternatives or other better solutions. In our particular context, it's true that very few of these changes were born from proposals or advices from the Edain Community, but their main aim is nonetheless to radically improve the entire game experience and to come up with a new configuration of the Mod's own elements. It's therefore true that the process led to the replacement of some features that have always done fine so far; the only suggestion I could give you, Maus, is to make some efforts to view the whole picture in a wider perspective.

One of the paramount aspects of the next patch is in fact the prospect of having a more unique ensemble and a lot of additional diversity: more differentiation among factions, more smart mechanics implemented in the gameplay and, most importantly, many new strategic possibilities. In light of all these properties, I would really say that this rationalisation was eventually needed. The Edain Mod is exactly renowned for its high standards of uniqueness; though it might not excel in one specific aspect, it's the general design that renders the Mod great.

As for the Misty Mountains, in the article about Gondor's new spellbook I explained why the faction is very much popular and, in consequence, why it takes a considerable amount of time to work on its development. I think it was wise of them to have decided to go for these overhauls first, lest these changes and the Misty Mountains combined created far worse troubles. 'One thing at a time', this is the main principle.
