Drakan: 10th Anniversary works based on a engine hack enabling the use of high quality DirectX 9 rendering.
Features:
+ Fixed the majority of known Drakan bugs
+ Normal mapping using procedural normal map textures

+ Ability to use custom shaders
+ Ability to use custom normal maps
+ Ability to use custom textures of any size (not limited to 256x256)

I got few bug reports on my mail, and I am already working on new patch.
If you got a bug that is not mentioned here, please report it here ASAP: Drakan.eu
List of fixes:
- Crash-to-desktop with flame breath (alt attack, first Arokh breath), happen rarely
- Memory bug that could result in visual glitches (such as strange diagonal lines)
- Memory dumper - now after crash the game will dump all it's content and variables, will be easier to track other bugs
- Fixed normal maps for human faces, they're much prettier that way

Bardzo wielka prośba - nie pisz o bug reportach w komentarzach - to paskudny sposób na złapanie mnie, nie dostaję *żadnych* notyfikacji o nich i bardzo łatwo je przeoczyć. Wyślij mi maila z opisem buga (Adres dostępny tutaj: Drakan.eu ) to zobaczymy co dalej - na pewno będą mi potrzebne dodatkowe informacje
if i install this patch and i want to play the game without it i have to uninstall it first?
Just double click Drakan.exe in your game directory and you will play original Drakan (with some minor memory tweaks, so it doesn't crash)
The patch is already under work, should be available in January (I originally intended to publish it December 24th, but it will be delayed). And please, ask any questions at Arokhslair.net as I don't get notifications about comments here :)
