Drakan: 10th Anniversary works based on a engine hack enabling the use of high quality DirectX 9 rendering.
Features:
+ Fixed the majority of known Drakan bugs
+ Normal mapping using procedural normal map textures
+ Motion Blur
+ Post-processing effects
+ Ability to use custom shaders
+ Ability to use custom normal maps
+ Ability to use custom textures of any size (not limited to 256x256)
+ All effects configurable using a convenient launcher

Can you make longer view distance, because that is really shot(and annoying) :S
I cant wait for this mod, my forever favourite game, because actually that is the first game what i'm played on our old P3 pc :)
Unfortunately no, removing fog without access to original source codes is next to impossible, and I tried to obtain that code in any possible way (mails, snail-mails, etc.) for 2 years before I've ever began working on this mod (side note, that's why it's called 10th Anniversary and not 12nd Anniversary :D )
I'm so looking forward to this! I'm so glad that other people share the same love for this game as I do!
Hah, thanks :) Drakan is still one of my favorite games of all time and I feel proud I can put my skills to good use on upgrading it ;)
hi everyone... we know something about the mod? i so exiting , i cant wait:)
There will be major delay, unfortunately. Kronikarz, my second programmer, is out completely because of his current job and I am facing some RL problems too. Nevertheless the mod is about 75% complete and we'll try to release open beta as quickly as possible (namely I have to solve some bugs in renderer, and I don't know how much time it'll take)
The feature list sounds great. Can't wait for it! Currently the game always crashes at the last level :D Keep up this fantastic work.
That crash is probably already fixed in beta version, currently we can finish the game on various hardware configurations without single crash :)
That's why I'm looking forward to this mod ^^
btw: I'm the same Ratchet from the Arokh's lair forums you have send the savegame that was crashing while the transmorph-sequence. Now I'm stuck again but I will wait until the mod released ;)
