Combine Destiny

The town of Coonersville has rebelled. The citizens there have overthrown the security forces and established a base at the top of the mountain. The town was heavily shelled with headcrab canisters, forcing the rebels into hiding. A Combine Overwatch sweeper team cleared the remaining forces and took over the base.
The Combine have turned the base into Quiver Mountain Research Facility and Military Installment aka Installation 34.
Recently, the Citadel has lost contact with Installation 34 and the Administrator believes that the underground rebels have resurfaced and retaken the installation. The surface has been shelled, but knowledge of the current situation is vague at best.
The Administrator is regrouping the Transhuman forces for security operations. Support in this mission is therefore light. You are the squad leader for a team being deployed at the farside service hangar. Your mission is to infiltrate the installation, assess the situation and eliminate the underground rebels. Good luck.

Played it. Here's a little impression:
Pros: awesome mapping, thrilling atmosphere.
Cons: stupid plot(well at least it could be done better), too many zombies(what the hell are zombies doing in combine research facility anyway), combine soldiers repeatedly stop following you.
To sum up, the mapping part is done very well, but you totally failed the story part. Although I hope a better sequel is coming soon ;)

i just played it and it keeps crashing on the bit after u fall down that bridge and on 2 the next map where part of the small bridge breaks its kind of hard 2 explain :S
the bridge breaks and u fall down there you just have to wait and on the second map the bridge is supposed to break you are supposed to jump onto the opisite ledge before you fall down
Another great mod. Challenging, considerable length, great environment, impressive HUD(especially that orders on the left upper corner), good timing on the music, and it's good be a player at the opposing faction. This mod is greatly recommended, 10/10.
was a very good challenge for me.when i got underground to the antlion hordes and zombies i thought that i had no hope of survival until those 2 ceiling turrets helped me out :D.i had a very very hard time getting out of that maze witch i call the hell maze,full of zombies and whatnot.still i am looking forward to the second combine destiny ^^.
I thought this mod's level design felt bland and monotonous. Almost like a remake of halo. Definitely not a seven, maybe a three.
I usually just use grenades or the AR2 altfire and hope that kills him.
Download the patch, or don't look at the vort and just keep running forward. Should work.
